It looks like Valleywag readers are even more breast-obsessed than Slate writers.
Slate’s Troy Patterson recently demonstrated his jiggle obsession by trying to reduce Rocketboom’s success down to cleavage.
Now Valleywag readers are weighing in, and a full 82% are jiggle obsessed, attributing Rocketboom’s success to Amanda Congdon’s figure. Nevertheless, more than half chose new host Joanne Colan over Congdon.
Joanne Colan made a splash in her first day as the interim host of Rocketboom 2.0.
Comments at the site were overwhelmingly positive, ranging from “Not bad for a brit.” to “amanda who?”

Earlier in the week, Andrew Baron set the record straight, saying that he did over 95% of a lot of things at Rocketboom:
“Fact: Out of all the scripts in the history of Rocketboom, Amanda has edited nearly every single one, but over 95% of the scripts on Rocketboom have been written by me.
Fact: Over 95% of the directed episodes in the history of Rocketboom were directed by me.”
While this may be true, we’re wondering if Baron isn’t regretting the statement now that he’s missed his own deadlines for Rocketboom 2.0:
“Producing Rocketboom every day is a challenge but nothing has ever been as challenging as what we are going through right now.
Rocketboom was obviously very dependent on Amanda’s role. Since she left so suddenly, I have tried to get the episodes up and running as soon as possible, though I am not comfortable with the way they are going yet.
It’s easy enough to recreate the same thing, the challenge here is to do the next.

For those who aren’t sick of the Rocketboom saga just yet (yes, you Valleywag), I received an anonymous tip that Amanda Congdon has signed with the Endeavor Agency. I have confirmed that this is indeed true.
As of this writing, a Google search turns up no results. However, if you visit Amanda’s site you will see that the Endeavor Agency is now listed as her point of contact.
