Another home sex tape is hitting the Internet - American Idol contestant Olivia Mojica missed becoming a finalist on American Idol, but is going all the way in a home sex video being distributed by Vivid.

Mojica is the latest celebrity to see a video she recently made with her boyfriend find its way into the public arena. The DVD, Hardcore Idol, will be in stores across the country on May 3rd. Vivid is the same firm that is distributing the Kim Kardashian/Ray J sex video.

“We have a great combination here. American Idol may be the most popular show in the history of television. Olivia is really cute, the sex is really hot and there is much controversy surrounding the show,” said Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid. “If she was in the adult business, she would be an instant superstar.”

The video, which Mojica made with her boyfriend Adam Roberts a month ago in her New York City apartment, was obtained by Vivid, which is currently trying to contact Mojica to see if she will help promote the video and share in revenue from its sale.

Metacafe has launched Café Confidential, a new video confessional channel created by acclaimed Hollywood producer Steven Bochco. The site features short videos of twentysomethings sharing personal experiences such as My First Time, My Weird Family or Most Embarrassing Moment.

The unscripted content is designed to encourage viewers to respond by posting their own video stories, which are immediately eligible for cash payment through Metacafe’s Producer Rewards program.

The Detroit Metro Visitor & Convention Bureau, or DMCVB, would like to give up $10,000 to a videographer that can put together a 2 to 4 minute video podcast that creatively and positively captures one of Detroit’s strong suites: cars, culture, gaming, music or sports. The visitors bureau wants to reach 21 to 34-year-olds, and what better way than to get into their iPods?

The Detroit video podcast must be between two to four minutes long, and the creator/s must be 18 or older. The 2 to 4 minute video podcast must creatively and positively capture at least one of these five major categories: cars, culture, gaming, music and sports.

To enter your video podcast, the DMCVB asks you to complete the online registration form and follow directions for uploading your video entry on YouTube.com by April 20, 2007.

A panel of judges assembled by the DMCVB will select one winner by May 4, 2007, and that winner will be notified no later than May 18, 2007. The winning podcast will be incorporated in the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau’s marketing campaign.
