Nick Jr. has announced that it will be providing a “sneak peak” of a new animated series, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, across several media platforms, including video podcasts, beginning Tuesday, June 20.

From June 20 through August 22, never-before-seen music videos and character segments from Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will launch simultaneously every Tuesday on wireless carriers, Nick Jr. Video, Nick Jr.’s broadband video service, on-air on Nick Jr. and on “The Wubbcast,” described as “the first video podcast of preschooler programming”.

A total of 10 music videos and character segments will premiere over the course of the 11-week pre-launch period.

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, created by Bob Boyle, stars a curious little guy named Wubbzy and his two pals Widget and Walden who live in the mythical city of Wuzzleburg (remember - this is for preschoolers!). The offbeat loveable friends live in a world which is a whimsical and imaginative version of our own.

Wubbzy wants to have fun and spend his time chasing flutterflys, eating ice cream and playing hippity-hopscotch. But when he runs into everyday kid problems, he calls on his friends for help and advice.

Each half-hour episode of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will feature two, 10-minute adventures with Wubbzy, Widget and Walden. As each journey comes to a close, the themes of the day are reinforced through a direct-to-camera segment where the characters address the preschoolers at home, followed by an original music video.
