Indianapolis Using Video Podcasts to Promote City

23

May

Indianapolis Video PodcastIndianapolis is using video podcasts to help promote the city.

The Doing Indy podcast sounds a bit like it should be the adult film version of Raiders of the Lost Ark. It’s actually a well-done video podcast that features tourist information, including features on nightlife, destinations like the Children’s Museum, and events like the Indy 500.

It’s a smart use of video podcasting technology. The episodes are short and to the point and could help savvy travellers learn more about what there is to do in the city.

Unfortunately, the Doing Indy people make the mistake of assuming everybody has an iPod and wants to use iTunes - there’s no sign of an RSS feed link on their podcast site.

If you want to add this Doing Indy to your podcast software, just add this URL:
http://www.indy.org/rss/doingindy.xml
